Poem: She Marched On

Morning rays poured in,
Her eyes opened with a smile.
The Creator blessed her again;
Gift of Life, she’ll treasure ’til end.

Joy amidst  the pain
Sustains whatever remains.
She’s not alone, she knows;
With Him, there could be no Ghost.

As she rose, she looked back;
Reminded of what she turned back against;
She walked forward and looked up;
Praises for Him! She’s far from end!

Then she carried on; thankful,
Almost fearless she is; Hopeful,
Of continuity and growth;
She marched on, gleeful.

Worries are finally behind;
Trials, now she won’t mind.
To march with Him is Brave;
It is she who is Saved.

Love Indeed.

The scent left on my sheets,
The hair fallen while you're asleep,
The perfume you wore everyday,
Leave me forever in daze.

Your eyes that look into my soul;
Your lips that weaken my bones;
Your arms that take me wholly
Tell me I'm your one and only.

The fingerprints you left in me
Would need beyond a microscope to see
The sense of my life with you
How my love for you is true.

Regrets

With words left unsaid, I cried.

The music ended but the sighs.

Words unspoken do not suffice.

Unexplainable, in your eyes I died.

I wanted you to stay;

Pride and prejudice came our way.

Our hearts were one and the same,

Now I’m a distressful dame.

Once sunny disposition, hitherto.

I love you, do say “too.”

Words unsaid left us impaired.

My soul, I should’ve bared.
